How live channels are grouped

Channels are sorted into groups, usually by country or language first and then by category — news, sport, entertainment, movies, kids, documentaries and music. Most players let you hide groups you never use and build a favourites list, which makes a large line-up much easier to navigate on a TV remote.

The exact line-up changes over time as channels are added, renamed or removed. If a channel matters to you, look for it during the free trial or ask support before ordering.

The program guide (EPG)

The electronic program guide shows what's on now and next for each channel. Players that support it (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, OTT Navigator and others) load it automatically when you log in with Xtream Codes. If the guide is blank or the times are off, see EPG not working; for background, read what is an EPG.

Picture quality

Quality follows the source broadcast: some channels are available in 4K, most in Full HD or HD, and some come in several versions so you can drop to a lower one on a slow connection. 4K needs a 4K-capable device, a player that supports HEVC, and roughly 25 Mbps — see 4K streaming requirements.

When the list changes

Players cache the channel list. After a change on the service side you may need to refresh the playlist before new or renamed channels appear — see channel list not updating.

Channels FAQ

Can I see the full channel list before buying?

The line-up changes regularly, so a static list goes out of date quickly. The reliable way to check is to browse the channel groups during your free trial, or ask support about specific channels before you order.

Why are some channels missing from my list?

Your player may still be showing a cached list. Refresh or reload the playlist in the app. If a channel was removed or renamed on the service side, support can confirm.

Why does the guide show no information for some channels?

Not every channel has guide data, and mismatched channel IDs or a wrong time-zone setting can leave gaps. See the EPG troubleshooting guide for fixes.

Is every channel in 4K?

No. Quality depends on the original broadcast. A few channels are offered in 4K, most in Full HD or HD, and some have several quality versions you can choose between.

Is catch-up available on every channel?

No. Catch-up is included with 12-month plans and only works on channels that support it; supporting players show a catch-up or archive icon next to those channels.
